Imagine a group of blind men seeking to define an elephant’s form by touching a different part of its body then afterwards relating to the others their various conjectures.
Even though each had partial knowledge which was equally true in its own right, they arrogantly claimed to be sole possessors of absolute truth thus rejecting anything contrary to their belief.
They would do well if they could humbly accept all the parts of truth others have to offer so all could come closer to ‘seeing’ the whole truth.
“Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, let everyone be ready to contribute by using their God-given-giftings. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.” (My interpretation of 1 Corinthians 14:26.)
“Oh, how wonderful, how pleasing it is when God’s people all come together as one!”
(Psalm 133:1)
